Kindergarten registration is going on right now for the Two-Way Immersion program! The goal of this program is full bilingualism and biliteracy in both Spanish and English for English and Spanish speaking students. Classes consist of equal parts native English and Spanish speaking students and classes are taught equally in both languages throughout the school day. SFSD would like to give a huge shout-out to our partners at Delta Dental who visit schools to complete much-needed dental work for eligible students! Cleanings, cavities, and root canals are all done in the mobile bus, so students don’t have to miss school for an appointment! You put a smile on our faces, Delta Dental! Thank you!

The Puppet Show by the Sioux Falls Fire Rescue came to our school yesterday. Our Kindergarteners had the opportunity to learn about safety and they enjoyed the puppets, the music and the games! Thank you so much for coming to our building!


Yesterday we celebrated St. Patrick's day! The Laprechaun stopped by in some classrooms and made a mess! The students had so much fun!



4th grade learned a lot in the water festival. Such a fun event!



It was a highly successful and very fun family game night! Thank you PTO for the event!



Did our principal do more 22,000 steps yesterday celebrating the Dreambox Challenge with all grades? Yes she did! Our students are rocking their Dreambox lessons and we celebrated it with a dip and dance party!


Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday! Students from the Washington High School student council came and read with our kids. Thank you Warriors for all do you for our Wildcats. Our students and staff love having you around!
