Cultural Day at Rosa Parks
We have a fantastic start to the activities staff and parents have signed up for on Cultural Day. We are looking to add a few more learning opportunities to our students. We need about 10 more options. If you have been thinking about doing this, now is your opportunity! Some possible ideas are paint by number, any type of cooking, work out class, teaching magic tricks, a craft project, t-shirt designs with a Cricut, cheerleading, board games, etc. Here is the link to sign up- https://forms.gle/oDYs9mEtpbPTN9C99
Thank you for helping the Rosa Parks students learn more and enjoy the day!

Mrs. Ponto is up to no good...she pulled a couple April Fool's jokes on her class😂

We look forward to watching and listening to the 2nd graders perform their musical!

Friday means STAR Readers! Rayna did an amazing job reading about jobs!❤️

Tomorrow we will wrap up Read Across America! Please wear patterns and animal prints to celebrate.

Thank you to Rosa Parks Pack 144 for taking the time to clean up around our school! You made a HUGE impact!

March Madness Dreambox Challenge! Students are being asked to complete 2 lessons a day. They earn a basket for 2 lessons! Each class is paired up against another class. Today was the first game...the students that completed 2 lessons on Monday and Tuesday came down to shoot some baskets. The class with the most baskets wins and moves on! There was A LOT of excitement! Next game is on Monday!

Penny Wars are starting at Rosa Parks! Student council is hoping to make a donation to the Chemo Comfort Bags and collect enough to complete the Buddy Benches!

Reminder that daylight saving happened this weekend! We sprung forward this time, so be sure to set your clocks ahead one hour to keep everyone on time for school on Monday! ⏰

We did the drop everything on Monday to kick off Read Across America at Rosa Parks.
With 18 of 25 classrooms and 2 SPED rooms reporting it was over 10,000 minutes on Monday, March 3rd! Way to go Wildcats!

Don't forget about Kindergarten Registration is tomorrow night at Rosa Parks from 3:30-6! If you have a child turning 5 by September 1, bring them in tomorrow! We look forward to meeting our future Wildcats❤️🖤

Happy Social Worker Week!
In the Sioux Falls School District, every student's journey is unique. For many of the kids we serve, our school social workers are there every step of the way! Whether offering a listening ear, connecting families to resources, or advocating for students' well-being, their dedication ignites hope and creates lasting impact in our schools.
This year's theme, Unite to Ignite: Celebrating Our Impact, is a perfect reflection of how our social workers bring people together to create brighter futures for students.
THANK YOU to our incredible school social workers for your compassion and care!
