The fourth graders have been working on electrical systems. They even got to create their own. They figured out how to make a fan spin and then how to make it spin the opposite direction. They also made an LED bulb light up, a buzzer sound, and then the real challenge was to make all three work at the same time. They had so much fun!!

4th and 5th grade students join us on Sunday for the Latino parade! Please see the flyer.

We love celebrating WHS homecoming week with them. We are one of their feeder elementary schools, so it’s fun to get a small taste of high school.
Next week (Sept. 16-20) is their homecoming, and Rosa Parks will celebrate their dress up days with them.

Please join us at the Corn Maze next week!

Twinning on Friday. One was planned and one was not. Can you guess which was which?

On Friday, the fourth graders were fortunate enough to have members of the Lincoln High School MCJROTC come and present to them information about the American flag. They taught them how to raise and lower the flag, how to fold it, and respect for the American flag. The fourth graders are now ready for the very important job of putting the flag up each school day and taking it down at the end of the day.
Thank you LHS Senior Cadets!
